Vegan apple pie

Ingredients

For a small mold

  • 2 cups whole grain flour
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 100 g of almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons of carob flour (optional)
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut (optional) *
  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil
  • To moisten, it can be some vegetable milk or 2 well-liquefied apples with little water
  • Cinnamon and clove to taste
  • Yeast 1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon of royal powder
  • 3 apples
  • 1 handful of almonds

Preparation

Cut the apples of medium size. Place it in a pyrex glass roasting pan. This will be the basis of our cake. This should be placed in the oven for about 20 minutes or until it cooks and reduce its volume. You can add a splash of water so that the apples are moist.

In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, royal powder and cinnamon and cloves. Then place the wet ingredients: the melted coconut oil and the 2 liquefied apples.

When the apples are cooked, place the preparation on the base of apples and bring to the oven. It can be sprinkled with grated coconut and with the coarsely chopped almonds.

Leave in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until the dough is cooked.

Serve warm and accompany with a tea with cinnamon.
